Have you ever received a form in PDF format that needs to be filled out? But confused about how to fill it directly via a PC or laptop?
Of course, you can print the form and fill it out manually using handwriting. But this method is somewhat more complicated especially if you have to send the form back via email.
So far, if you want to edit PDF files, the application that is often used is Adobe Acrobat. But this application cannot be used for free and the price is quite expensive.
For this reason, there are alternatives to editing PDF files online and offline that are cheap and easy:
Editing PDF files online has several advantages. You can do it through any device and anywhere as long as it is connected to an internet connection.
In addition, you can also edit without the need to download additional applications before.
One reliable PDF editor online service is Sejda. The editing features offered by Sejda are also quite complete, such as adding links, filling out forms, adding images and annotations and much more.
To use it, open the Sejda official website at https://www.sejda.com/ through a browser on your PC or laptop. On the front page select the PDF Editor menu.
After that, you can choose which PDF file you want to edit by clicking Choose PDF file. You can also drag and drop desired documents from the file manager directly into the browser.
After selecting the file, wait a moment until all the pages have finished loading. To edit the text that is on the page, you can directly click on the section that you want to edit. If you want to add a new text, you can click on any part of the page you want.
After all, editing is complete, click Apply Changes in the bottom center of the screen. Wait a few moments and your documents are ready to be stored on your computer or in cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
But, there are some things that should be noted if you want to use Sejda. First, Sejda doesn’t have an optical character recognition (OCR) feature, so you can’t edit scanned PDF files.
Secondly, this service is free but has limitations. In one hour, you can only process no more than 200 pages or 50 MB of data, depending on which is achieved first. In addition, you also cannot run more than three tasks.
Who would have thought Microsoft Word could be used to edit PDF files offline directly on a PC or laptop? This feature is available in Word for Office 365, Word 2019, Word 2016 and Word 2013.
But if you use this offline method it should be noted that your PDF file will be converted into a Word file first before it can be edited.

If the notification appears, just click OK. After the PDF file opens in Word, you can directly edit the text in the file.
After the editing process is complete, you can save the file directly in PDF format. Click the File menu, then Save As. Don’t forget to change the file format from DOCX to PDF.
